We had a great turn out! Don’t forget to tell all of your family and friends about our 2nd event at Fox’s on SSI on Monday 2/13/12. If they mention BJWC upon payment we will recieve 20% of proceeds.

We plan on meeting to discuss plans for Family Night at Ziggy’s on Wednesday 2/15/12 at Village Inn at 6pm if anyone is interested in volunteering to help. We had several girls sign up at last week’s meeting, but alot of people were out so we wanted to send out the invite again.

On February 25, 2012 the Brunswick Junior Women’s Club will be sponsoring the 5th Annual Red Dress Ball benefiting the Glynn County Heart Association and the College of Coastal Georgia Nursing Program.

As part of a long standing club tradition, we will be honoring an outstanding woman as the Young Woman of the Year during this event. The Brunswick Junior Women’s Club would like to request your assistance in identifying the perfect candidate. We are searching for someone who exhibits outstanding volunteer and service leadership within the community.

If you know of someone deserving of such an honor, please visit our website at www.brunswickjwc.org and click on the link titled “2012 Women of the Year” to enter your submissions. Submission deadline is February 15, 2012.

What a GREAT night last night!  We had a wonderful turn-out at our Christmas Party.  Thank you for being so generous with you Angel Tree donations!  We raised $230!  We also raised a nice lil’ donation to the Salvation Army via our 50/50 Raffle.  Congrats again to Ms. Amber Mack for her win!  Pictures are being loaded now.

Do not forget to be on the lookout for our Salvation Army Bell Ringing Volunteer email.  Miranda Collins will get us some times and send the email out.  We are trying to do it at the Chick-fli-A on SSI.

Remember, we REALLY need EVERYONE to bring in at least ONE Sponsorship and/or ONE Silent Auction item.  YOU CAN DO IT!!!  The more the merrier so….if you have NEW suggestions, please email me or Olivia so we can get it documented.

Thank you for all your efforts ladies!!  This is the MAIN event and signature fundraiser for Glynn Heart Association….they are counting on us!
